Ida Lee Crosby's Obituary
Ida Lee Crosby, age 85 of Hawthorne, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Orange Park Medical Center. She was born December 12, 1928 in Brooksville, Florida to William Harnamon and Mary Jane Jerkin Gold. Ida was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, A.D. “Bill” Crosby in 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Rogers of Jamestown, TN; son, Aubrey D. Crosby (Debi) of Middleburg, FL; grandchildren, James William Crosby, Aubrey D. Crosby, Jr., Cherie Ann Hart, Melanie Marsh and Timothy Rogers and great grandchildren, Taylor, Cassidy, Jasey, Hannah, Carley, Haley, Hannah, Hayden, Riley, Elise and Ahron.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, US 301 South at Lake Avenue, with Pastor Charles Litzell officiating. Burial will follow in Providence UMC Cemetery in Windsor. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
