Our joyful experiences at our Keystone Hts lake house always included chats with Armond. He was a fixture there continuously improving his residence. I can remember when my in-laws were still alive we would watch him take a shell of a house and turn it into a home. You could see him on the roof hammering while wearing his Greek fisherman’s hat. As we started coming to the lake more often after we moved back to Florida, we became good friends. The feral kitty that he made comfortable with humans became our kitty and still lives with us and one of her litter. We will always be grateful to Armond for the gift of these sweet kitties. We loved the stories of his youth and his life in Ohio and S. Florida. He had a good life on his own terms and reinvented himself with numerous various employment opportunities, entrepreneurship, and building his own homes but his number one focus was his family.
It was an honor to know him. We will miss his stories while floating in the lake, his easy laugh, and his hammering while working on his home improvement projects. Rest In Peace dear one. You will be missed.
