Henry Charles Habich III's Obituary
Henry Charles Habich III, 95, resident of High Springs, FL, died Sunday, October 19, 2014. Henry was born December 31, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Henry Habich II and Helen Gordon Habich.
He lived most of his life in Pennsylvania, working as a helicopter inspector and as a Fireman for many years. Following his retirement, he moved to Kernersville, NC in 1979, and then to Cape Coral, FL, in 2001, and then in 2012, moved to High Springs, FL, to be near his daughter.
He was married to his wife, Frances Habich, for 70 years before she passed in 2013. Along with his wife, he was very active and supportive of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kernersville, NC and the Church in Cape Coral. He was recently a member of the High Springs SDA Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Habich, son Richard Habich, and by one great grandson, William Eglinger.
He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn (David) Eglinger of Trenton, FL and son, William Habich, of Lake Ann, MI. Four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery, Kernersville, NC.
