Henry "Buck" Cassels' Obituary
Henry “Buck” Cassels, age 87, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home.
A lifetime resident, Buck was born September 25, 1930 in Lochloosa to Owen and Rita Mae Griffis Cassels. He was a self-employed commercial fisherman and spent his life on Lochloosa Lake, the place he loved so much.
Buck is survived by his wife, Barbara Futch Cassels; children, B.J. (Rodney) Cromwell of Lochloosa FL, Wayne (Diane) Cassels of Lochloosa FL; Teressa Cassels of Lochloosa, FL; grandchildren, John, Jamie, Jessica, Lisa, Lori, Mike, Jason, Renae and Travis and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, “Boss” Cassels in 2008.
Papa "Buck" was the happiest when he was on the lake or sitting on the front porch with granny. He loved having the grandkids stop by to visit. Papa always had a good story to share.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., in Antioch Cemetery in Lochloosa.
