Helen Jean Voss' Obituary
Helen Jean Voss, age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Hampton. She was born August 9, 1926 in Maryland to Kenneth and Nellie Amsley. She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her son, Marvin “Pete” Shoemaker; daughter, Marvena A. Goodwin; step daughters, Elizabeth Leopold, Margie Lindsey and Laura Voss; grandchildren, Kenneth Shoemaker, Tammy L, Kropp, Tomas R. Davis, Tina M. Young and Henry V. Stewart II and 15 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, February 7, 2014, at 2:30 pm in Fairbanks Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2014, 6:30 to 7:30 pm at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
