Ms. Helen was no doubt one of the sweetest and kindest souls a person can meet in this lifetime. Her leaving here is certainly a loss to us all.
Not only treasured by her family, she is a treasured part of the neighborhood we lived in together — always making time to stop and chat with folks, lending a caring ear and kind word. Her compassion and interest in others was truly genuine.
I will never forget the warm hospitality I felt from her and her husband one time when I stopped in for a visit. I can’t help but think she may have left here just in time to celebrate their September 14 wedding anniversary together . . .
My sincerest condolences to my lovely friend Mary (whose sweetness so reminds me of her mum), her brother Peter, and the rest of the family. My love and prayers to you all for healing and peace that surpasses understanding 🙏🏻 💛
