Helen Louise Burnett Bice's Obituary
Helen Louise Burnett Bice, 97, formerly of Shinnston, WV, passed away January 26, 2017 at her residence in Oak Hammock in Gainesville, FL.
Helen loved sewing and quilting and hand-sewed many quilts during her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Russell Bice of Enterprise, WV, and 5 siblings: Martha Ellen Griffin, Frances Shaffer, Margaret Anderson, Frank A. Burnett, Jr., and Charles L. Burnett.
She is survived by her children: James and wife Judy of Newnan, Georgia, David and wife Shirley of Kissimmee, Florida, and Richard and wife Wendy of Gainesville, Florida. She leaves behind grandchildren: Stephanie Herring of Carrollton, Georgia, Brian Bice of Omaha, Nebraska, Trisha Bice of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Brooks Bice of Gainesville, Florida and Megan McPhail of Worcester, Massachusetts, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service conducted by Harmer Funeral Home will be held Wednesday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. in WV at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery
