Helen Yvonne Cook's Obituary
Helen Yvonne Cook, born in Key West, FL on February 19, 1929 died at Haven Hospice of Palatka on October 24, 2015 at 7:55 PM after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was comforted by family and the loving and attentive staff of Haven Hospice.
Preceding her was her husband of 57 years, Byron Lee Cook and daughter, Jeanneen Elizabeth Disgdiertt, 64 years of age, who passed away on October 12, 2015.
She is survived by son, Byron Lee Cook, Jr. and his wife Ivonne, grandchildren, Matthew Cook, Monica Clevenger, her husband Joey and great grandson Aaron; daughter, Nancy Lee Ramirez, her husband Hector, grandson, Hector Ramirez III and wife, Shelley, great granddaughter, Jordan and great grandson, Ricky, grandson, Casey Lee Ramirez and wife, Cristie, great grandchildren, Nicolas, Natalie and Ana Elise; son-in-law, Manuel Disgdiertt, grandson, Manuel Disgdiertt and wife, Nicole, great grandchildren, Jasmine and Gabe and sister-in-law, Maggie Malone, three nieces, Rebecca Fleming, Helen Lones and Elizabeth Delriego and nephew, Raymond Lones.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with Fr. Waldemar Maciag officiating.
