Harrell Lynn Dykes' Obituary
Harrell Lynn Dykes, age 52 of Hawthorne, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Oklahoma. Lynn was born July 14, 1963 in Eastman, Georgia to Harrell Ray and Sally Elizabeth Bryant Dykes. He was the owner and operator of HLD Services, a carpet cleaning business. In his free time Lynn enjoyed bowling, golf and reading his Bible. Lynn was attending Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was a member of The Greenhouse Church of Gainesville.
Lynn is survived by his mother, Sally Dykes; brother, Michael Dykes; sisters, Jan Morris, Pamela Vincent (Sam) and Sylvia Williams; former wife, Josie Colacci-Dykes; many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 818 County Road 20A, with Dr. L.D. Osteen and Pastor Michael Patz officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Fresh Start Ministries, 4436 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804 or The Community Foundation athletic scholarship in Memory of Robert "Bobby” Guy Pollino II, 418 Spring Street, Jamestown, N.Y. 14701.
