Gwendolyn June Wilkinson's Obituary
Gwendolyn June Wilkinson, longtime resident of Windsor Florida, passed away Friday July 16th, 2021. Gwen, 90 years old, passed peacefully at Palm Gardens of Gainesville.
Gwen was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 2, 1931. During her time in Florida, Gwen worked over 20 years for the tax collector’s office in Alachua County. She supported her community by being a blood donor and an advocate for the cause. When Gwen wasn’t spending time cooking for her loving family, she was found deep within the pages of a good book. Gwen is described by her loved ones as a real firecracker. She was a stick of dynamite in a little package.
Mrs. Wilkinson is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Archiebald Wilkinson. She is also proceeded in death by her son Anthony (Tony) Wilkinson of Windsor, FL.
Gwen is survived by her daughter, Sherry O’Steen (Will Hubbard) of Alachua, FL; her sons, Dickie Wilkinson and Mike Wilkinson both of Windsor, FL; her granddaughters, Ashlie Girard (Chris) of Bremerton, WA, Erin Ferguson (Daniel) of Windsor, FL, Suzanne Kiser of Sour Lake, TX, Jennifer White of Lochloosa, FL and Kaylin Courtney of Kissimmee, FL. Gwen is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
