Gwen was born December 18, 1925, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Howard C. and Mae (Evans) Oglesby. She was married to William (Bill) Fox. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1993.
Gwen worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell retiring in 1983. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, fishing, and watching the Chicago Cubs.
Gwen is survived by a son; Michael D. Fox (Karrie) of St. Augustine, FL. grandchildren; Ryan, Jacque, Jaime, Rick, Michelle, Sean, and Jordan. great-grandchildren; Hunter, Taylor, Skylar, Alexis, Katelyn, and Alysha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, daughter Marilyn K.(Fox) Sievers. daughter; Rebecca L. (Fox) Westin, infant son; Richard A. Fox, brothers; Harvie D. Oglesby, Ronald D. Oglesby, Marvin O. Oglesby, Richard Oglesby, and sister; Billie Rae (Oglesby) Mosser.
