Gwendolyn Toliver Bush's Obituary
Gwendolyn Toliver Bush was born April 25,1928 in Hopewell, VA. Her family
moved to Tuscaloosa, AL where she graduated from high school. At age 19 she
moved to Palatka where she married Edward L. Bush. They had three children
Robert, Frank and Rebecca.
In 1969 the family moved to Gainesville where she enjoyed her crafts, pets and
gardening. Most of all, she cherished her membership at North Central Baptist
Church. She participated in many activities which included teaching Sunday School.
On June 27, Gwen left this world after many years of health issues, including
congestive heart failure and kidney failure. She especially wanted to thank the many
staff members at dialysis who took care of her for over 12 years.
The family will have a private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
acknowledgements be made to North Central Baptist Church, 8001 NW 23 Ave.,
Gainesville, 32606.
