Gunvantbhai R. Patel's Obituary
Gunvantbhai R. Patel, age 86 of Gainesville, FL passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Gainesville FL. He was born October 14, 1932 in Kampala, Uganda to Ravjibhai S. Patel and Mamiben R. Patel.
He was a High School Principal in Africa and India for over 40 years and was a mentor to many students.
He is survived by son, Rajesh G. Patel; daughters, Rashmi S. Amin and Vandana R. Amin; six grandchildren, Hardik, Dixita, Nirav, Dhavnik, Nikesh and Parth; two great grandchildren, Sanvi and Ayaan.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
