Arthur Benner
My name is Arthur W. Benner and I am truly saddened by the passing of my very close friend Gerald Kidney. Gerald (Who was always called Pudgy) as we grew up together in North Waldoboro, Maine. Gerald and I were just like brothers as we grew up through our elementary and high school years. The best example of our close relationship would be like the boys in the movie Stand By Me. We did everything together. Fishing at Medomak Pond, building wooden go-carts to speed down the hill by Geralds house, playing a never-ending Monopoly game, overseeing the annual Halloween Haunted House for our neighborhood kids, being the youngest members of the local grange and of course double dating our favorite girls during high school.
As amazing as it may sound, we never argued or held negative feelings with each other. Yes, Gerald and I were as Un separatable as if we were truly brothers. I will always remember his smile, his laugh and his positive outlook on life. My best friend "Pudgy" is now by God's side, and I will miss him for the rest of my life. Be at Rest !!
