Gerald (Jerry) Lee Kuykendall's Obituary
Gerald (Jerry) Lee Kuykendall passed away on November 19, 2022. He was born in Terre Haute, IN on October 3, 1945, to James H. and Loretta Griffin Kuykendall.
Jerry was a graduate of Indiana University Medical School. He started his medical practice at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, Texas, continued private practice in Terre Haute, IN and later moved his practice to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he practiced until 2017. He was a member of the Caducean Society and longtime physician for the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Marlins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Candi Kuykendall, daughter Laura Dedenbach and husband Gerry, son Andrew Kuykendall, siblings Jim Kuykendall and wife Sue, Jeanine Weger and husband Tom, grandson Blaine Dedenbach and wife Anna, ten nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Williams Thomas Funeral Home Westarea 823 N.W. 143 street Newberry, FL.
