in honor of Georgia "Pete".
Pete was my neighbor for thirty years. We helped each other out and spent many afternoons enjoying tea and conversation, sometimes in her family room and sometimes on the deck in her beautiful back yard. Pete was a gracious hostess, a good friend, an intelligent and active citizen, a faithful church member, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and a tough cookie. She was kind to everyone, and had the brightest smile. Pete, I'll think of you often and always remember that smile.
