George Warren Rash's Obituary
George Warren Rash, age 60, of Hawthorne passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born April 26, 1955 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He graduated from Benjamin Logan High School and attended college. Serving from 1973 to 1977, George was a United States Navy Veteran. He was in Certified Energy Management and Energy Business Development at Perfection Group. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0016 of Gainesville, Lions Club of Bellefontaine, VFW Bellefontaine Lodge #132, and a past member of Elks Lodge. He loved fishing, Gator Basketball, and bicycling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, and traveling with his wife.
He is survived by his wife Namil Chun Rash of Hawthorne; children, Levi Rash and wife Janel of Huntsville, OH, Melissa Rash of Miami, FL, stepdaughter, Marie Warfield and husband Donta of Tampa, FL; brothers and sisters, Frank Rash of Melbourne, FL, Frank Reams of Zanesfield, OH, Diane Reams of Ocala, FL, Melinda Young of Atlanta, GA, Ronald Reams, Dunnellon, FL and seven grandchildren, Ana Quintana, Kaila Warfield, Dominic Warfield, Zach Sparks, Hunter Phillips, Reagan Rash, and Riley Rash.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Martha Rash and step mother, Phyllis Rash.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Services and burial will be in Zanesfield, OH.
