George William Green Jr.'s Obituary
Alachua - George William Green, Jr., age 67, died of medical complications due to a lingering illness on Monday, April 7, 2014, at North Florida Rehabilitation and Specialty Care, Gainesville, FL.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Joyce P. Green; children, Tscharna Senn of Alachua and Justin D. Green and wife Christy of Alachua; five grandchildren, Kara Senn, Parker Green, Kamryn Senn, Davis Green, and Elisa Green; three siblings, Wilma J. Green, Albert R. Green and Ruby J. Green. George was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Green; brothers, William W. Green and Glenward D. Green; sisters, Imogene Z. Osteen and Barbara J. Edwards.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Newberry United Methodist Church, 24845 West Newberry Road, with Dr. Gary Brady, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery at St. Johns United Methodist Church, Cotton Plant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm at the church.
