George E. Belloni's Obituary
George E. Belloni, age 86, of Gainesville, FL passed away on February 14, 2018 at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born George Egidio Belloni on September 29, 1931 in Cliffwood, NJ; son of Lodovigo Belloni and Louisa Orlando Belloni. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Ann Rose Gorski. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his son George L. Belloni, and wife, Helene; his three grandchildren, Branden Belloni, and wife, Janna, Dylan Belloni, and Lauren Belloni; his great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Brett, and Adam. He is also survived by his sister, Lena Minichino, and Lena’s children, Kathylee Jones, and husband, Douglas, and Anthony Minichino; along with his sister Ann’s children, George Dana Belloni, and wife, Mary Ann, and Lynn Ann Schlageter, and husband, Glenn. Lastly, he is survived by his dear friend, Lacie Lazaroe, many loving relatives, friends, and every proud American.
George was a strong Catholic and a proud Korean War Veteran who enjoyed raising money for many veteran causes with his best buddy, Kip Price. George was the owner-operator of Hagerstown Window Service until summer 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gainesville, FL on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
Since George E. Belloni had many friends around the nation, it is the attempt of the family to provide a live webcast for those unavailable to pay their respects in person.
