Gary was sharp, interesting and kind to the very end. We loved to hear his story (especially because I was a fellow Canadian) and, as his friends and Realtors, we were so grateful that he kept his house and property in such perfect order. His neighbors loved him! Jean & Kim Chalmers
I knew Gary for only a few years through my membership with the local AARP. A very knowledgeable and humble man. I was introduced to ARRP driver’s refresher course by him.. He was thorough, and patiently addressed all questions. Peace be with his family, and the present of God guide them during this time.
Gary was one of the guud guys I enjoyed during my time at Dow Corning. we used to have fun conversations as I supported his work through my lab facility management. I enjoyed his sense of humor, and thoughtful insights at various conferences. His mind was matched by his personal compassion.
As a long-time colleague (Dow Corning) and friend of Gary, I’m saddened to hear of his passing. I went on many a journey with him in the quest for ORIGINAL parts for his beloved E-Type Jaguar, including an unforgettable negotiation with a farmer over the real value of some very rusty hose clamps. I’m a better person for knowing you Gary. Rest in peace.
