I enjoyed coming out to visit Gary and Judy at their home on the lake on either Memorial Day or even Thanksgiving: if these were the only times we could spontaneously, and last minute, decide to get together. Gary and Judy represented, to me, the Kind of grandparents I'd want to be to any grandkids I have some day. They showed my kids what it's like to have grand parents in a child's life. We are instructed to weep with those who weep and to rejoice with those who rejoice. Today our whole family weeps with the three of you and all who knew and loved Gary. But we rejoice with Gary. This is the greatest homecoming he has ever attended and he is healed! Our sorrow is filled with the great hope given us in Christ and the prayers that in heaven our backyards will connect once again.
