Gary Cook's Obituary
Gary Michael Cook passed away at his home on October 6, 2021, at the age of 66. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and concern for others. Mr. Cook was born December 19, 1954 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He lived a fulfilling life as a father, husband, son, brother and friend. He loved the beach, music, history and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ms. Vada Lawton Cook, his three sons; Bradley Cook, Carson Cook, and Logan Cook, along with their wives and children. Mr. Cook has four grandchildren, Sadie Cook, Cameron Cook, Sydney Cook and one on the way that is due in May 2022. He is also survived by his mother Maryann Patton-Cook, as well as one sister, Allison Julie Cook and her children Zachary Griffith and Haley Griffith.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him.
