Freda Ingram Yoho's Obituary
Freda Ingram Yoho, 86, of Alachua, FL passed away on September 15, 2024. Freda was born on November 22, 1937, in Cedar Key, FL, and lived in Alachua most of her life.
She graduated from Alachua High School in 1956. She married Russell Kay Yoho in August 1960. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alachua, FL.
Freda was a loyal and dedicated employee. In her long career, she first worked at Copeland Sausage Company and then retired at age 72 from Hunter Marine. She and Kay were avid University of Florida Gator Fans, enjoying tailgates and games. She could be found wearing Gator orange and blue most days. She and Kay enjoyed fishing and boating, spending most vacations down at Crystal River, FL.
Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Kay Yoho and her parents, Maggie and Oliver Martin, as well as her brother, Harold Ingram and sister, Faye Ingram Neal.
Freda absolutely loved her family well. She doted on her siblings, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brothers; Bill (Phyllis) Martin, Dan (Susan) Martin, and sister-in-law, Myrna Gasque. She is also survived by her nieces, Pat Strickland, Ronda Chambers, Allison Mhoon, Alissa Martin, and Tiffany Koehn. She is also survived by nephews, Bob McMillan, Tom Ingram, Tim Ingram, Steve Ingram, Derek Martin, Todd Martin as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Freda and Kay treated their nieces and nephews as their own children, creating tons of fun and memories for the whole family. She will be greatly missed. Every child should have an Aunt Freda. She was loved and appreciated for her laughter and generosity.

Funeral Services will be Monday, September 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist church of Alachua, 14005 NW 146 Ave, Alachua, FL 32615 with Rev. Todd Martin and Rev. Jesse Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. burial will follow at Newnansville Cemetery.
