Fred W. Townsend's Obituary
Fred W. Townsend passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born March 1, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Fred William and Josephine Mila Townsend. He was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
Fred is survived by his wife of 41 years, Priscilla Townsend; daughter, Amy Ayson and son-in-law Ron Ayson; son, Fred Townsend and daughter-in-law Petra Townsend; granddaughters, Alice Townsend and Natalie Townsend. He has three sisters, Laurie Townsend, Sharon Lindsay, and Fay Seppala.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in Forest Meadows West Cemetery, with Rev. Allen Struckmeyer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
