After a life of faithful service to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Reverend Fred Augustus Sloan, Jr., 83 years old, was called home to be with his Savior on Saturday evening of August 6, 2022. He was a devoted servant of G Read Obituary
Fred was a wonderful example of the spirit filled life. His walk was his testimony and his humble servant heart was so evident in caring for others. He reflected the love of Jesus. His big smile was encouraging to all.
Our family was greatly blessed to have known Fred and your entire family.

Rev. Sloan was my next door neighbor in our college dorm at Souther Illinoiso University. His roommate, John Wettaw were close friends and John, who became a professor of chemistry at Northern Arizona University told me of Fred's move to his life long passion for the ministry.
