Frank Joseph Gago Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Joseph Gago, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 15, 2018 in Gainesville, FL at the age of 82.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Melanie Gago Dickson, son-in-law Jeff Dickson, and grandchildren Emma and Alex.
Frank was born on April 23, 1936 in Gainesville, FL to Frank Joseph Gago, Sr. and Dorothy Paulk Gago. He graduated from P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School at the University of Florida in 1954. Frank was a lifelong Gainesville resident and had a long career at Rice Hardware.
A celebration of life will be held at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N. Main Street, Gainesville, FL on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Frank’s life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Frank’s name to UF Health Palliative Hospice Care, donations may be mailed to UF Health Office of Development, P.O. Box 100386, Gainesville, FL 32610.
