My husband and I met Frank and Hikmet years ago when visiting my parents (Jane and Neil Simmons) at Oak Hammock. We enjoyed them both so much and especially appreciated Frank's great warmth and friendliness. Frank and Hikmet seemed so well matched in their interests, liveliness, and openness to new people. We looked forward to seeing them each time we visited. May Frank rest In peace and may Hikmet find all the comfort and consolation she needs at this difficult time.

Steve and Trudy Bingham express their condolences to Frank's family. We will never forget Frank's kindnesses to us whenever we visited Steve's father, Hal Bingham, at Wednesday floor parties and other gatherings at Oak Hammock. Frank and Hikmet always welcomed us and lended a listening ear to learn of the latest adventures of Trudy's third grade students and Steve's college music students. They also were extremely supportive during the times of Trudy's breast cancer and Steve's health issues. Rarely, did Frank or Hikmet speak of themselves, so we were amazed at reading the obituary telling of their many accomplishments! Even though we knew them to be remarkable, kind and caring, we did not realize we were in the presence of great ambassadors who truly made a difference in the world! We feel honored to have known Frank. Hikmet, we are praying for your comfort with love as we remember Frank's incredible life!
