Frances "Fran" Feaster Williams' Obituary
Frances “Fran” Feaster Williams, 85, of Gainesville, FL, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 9, 2026. Fran was born in Micanopy, FL on May 28, 1940, to Henry L. and Fannie Matthews Feaster. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and then earned her associate’s degree from the University of Florida. She worked as an accountant for the UF College of Medicine until her retirement. She was a faithful Christian and long-time member of Gainesville Church of Christ.
Fran is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her special friends Elaine Haynes, and her daughter Mikayla, as well as all their extended family members.
In a final act of generosity, Fran chose to donate her body to science to advance medical education and research. Even in death, her selfless decision will help to ensure future generations benefit from the knowledge gained through this contribution.
