Mr Tillman was passing through Amarillo, Texas, pulling his small trailer. This had to be in the 50’s. He pulled into the trailer park on N. Mirror St and my dad parked his trailer for him. Afterwards he came down to our trailer and we all sat out in the yard while he sang and played guitar. I was probably 12-14 at the time but I’ve never forgotten it and I’m 82 now. I remember him being very gracious, a really nice and very talented man.
