Florence Rose Cheshire Matchett's Obituary
Florence Rose Cheshire Matchett, age 90, of Lochloosa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Gainesville Health Care Center in Gainesville, Florida. She was born May 12, 1926 in Citra, Florida, attended school in Citra and married Fred Matchett on Sept. 8, 1945. Florence was a longtime resident of Lochloosa and member of Lochloosa United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Barney Cheshire and Hattie Mae John, her husband Fred Matchett, daughter Judi Brown, brothers Vernon Cheshire, Barney Cheshire, Ralph Cheshire, and Clark Cheshire, sisters Louise Matchett, and Wanda Matchett. She is survived by her sister Joanne Gibson, sons Michael Matchett, Dennis Matchett, and Steven Matchett, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be at Lochloosa United Methodist Church in Lochloosa, Florida on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 11:00AM.
