Fayre Dixon Copeland's Obituary
Fayre Dixon Copeland, age 90 of Archer passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Archer and was born September 25, 1925 to Newsome C. and Mary Lois Helms Dixon.
She was a beautician and she loved to travel. Fayre was a lifetime member of Archer United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil T. Copeland and brother, Jesse Dixon.
She is survived by her children, Linda Getzen (Pace), Tommy Copeland (Ginger) and Jeff Copeland (Denise); three grandchildren, Mary Lynne, Kendall and Jonathan; three great grandchildren, Jarrett, Aven and Natalie.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Laurel Hill Cemetery, 811 Church Blvd. Archer with Rev. Josh Braley and Pastor Priscilla Scherrah officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 29, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church, 17121 SW 137th Ln, Archer, FL 32618, or The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, 51 Children’s Way, Enterprise, Florida, 32725.
