Eve Wright Wheeler's Obituary
Eve Wright Wheeler, 49, of Gainesville, Florida, died Saturday, April 28, 2018.
Eve was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia, on March 26, 1969, a military child, who grew up all over the United States, graduating high school in Warner Robins, Georgia, and from Georgia Southern University, with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She moved to Gainesville and was a nurse at Haven Hospice for close to 20 years. She started a second career as an artist, painting and photography. She loved hiking and visiting our national parks.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Patrick Jay Wheeler; her parents, Richard and Theresa Wright, of Marco Island, Florida; her sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Matthew Kellison, of Hudson, Florida; a grandmother, Theresa Strozzo, of Brooklet, Georgia; mother-in-law, Lisa Wheeler (the late Thomas Wheeler), of Stephentown, New York; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 1:00 pm, at Grace at Fort Clarke United Methodist Church, 9325 Newberry Road, Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, Florida 32606.
