Eugene (E.W.) Wesley Millican's Obituary
Eugene (E.W.) Millican age 99, passed away on August 8, 2021, in Gainesville, Florida.
He was born in Salem, Florida on December 19, 1921, to George W. Millican, and Georgia Lena Strickland.
E. W. proudly served in U.S Coast Guard. While stationed in Sanibel Island he met the love of his life, Mary Palmer.
He loved his family more than anything. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and wonderful role model.
E.W. was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Mary Millican, son, Wesley Millican, and daughter Gwen Ryle.
He is survived by his children, Diane Hazen, Jean Shellnut (Richard) Brenda Law (Randy), Elaine Hazen(Sidney), seven grandchildren, Denise, Sandra, Jim, Lisa, Jeff, Jessica, Nikki, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held.
