Emogene Ruth Browskowski's Obituary
Emogene Ruth Browskowski, 88, resident of Alachua, Florida, died Thursday, October 11, 2018, at her home, from the lingering effects of Dementia/Alzheimer’s.
Mrs. Browskowski was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on March 27, 1930 to the late William F. and Ruby Kleist. In 1953, she married Mr. Bernard Browskowski, to whom she was married for 32 years, until his passing in 1985. Mrs. Browskowski worked as a legal secretary and as self-employed property manager for many years in Mondovi, until moving with her family in 1971 to Fort Myers, Florida. She continued her real estate work there for many years. While in Fort Myers, she attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was an avid racquetball player, playing well into her 70’s; she loved to dance, from polka’s to ballroom, and she loved to travel. Her favorite times though, were those she spent with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruby Browskowski-Loveday, of Alachua, FL; one son, Chuck Browskowski, of Bell, FL; four grandchildren, Amy Walding, Crystal Hancock, Nicki Loveday and Gloria Loveday; four great grandchildren also survive.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:30 A. M., in the St. Madeleine Catholic Church, 17155 NW US 441, High Springs, with Fr. Marek Dzien, celebrant. Interment will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 P. M., in the Lee Memorial Park, 12777 SR-82, Fort Myers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Al’z Place, 3411 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.
