Mrs. Emily Beckham Bantz's Obituary
Mrs. Emily Beckham Bantz, 90, resident of Ocala, Florida, died Monday, December 24, 2018, in the Brookdale Paddock Hills Assisted Living Facility, following a long illness.
Mrs. Bantz was born in Campville, Florida on February 15, 1928 to the late Joseph and Pansy Beckham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bantz in 1971. Mrs. Bantz was a longtime supervisor for Southern Bell, she was a very accomplished ballroom dancer, she loved flowers and gardening and fishing. She was a devoted mother who loved her family. Mrs. Bantz was a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church, Ocala.
Survivors include; her daughter, Brenda Kay Decker; two sons, Richard (Joann) Bantz and Dennis (Barbara) Bantz; four grandchildren, Ricky Bantz, John Bantz, Gregory Bantz and Christina Bantz Harper; four great grandchildren, A. J. Bantz, Tyler Bantz, Ethan Harper and Halle Harper.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018, at 11:00 A. M., in the Townsend Cemetery, Hawthorne, Florida, with Rev. Jay Watkins, officiating.
