Elvira Godina's Obituary
Elvira Godina, age 94 of Gainesville, Florida passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born September 6, 1923 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Nasario and Petra Rodriguez Arrambide.
She loved gardening and flowers. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Manuel J. Godina of Gainesville, FL; daughter, Petra Johnson of Gainesville, FL; sons, Art Godina and Armondo Godina both of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and two nieces, Eva Cervera and Dora Munoz.
She was preceded in death by her brother Adam Arrambide.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea, 823 NW 143rd Street. Interment will follow in Countryside Cemetery, 10926 NW 39th Ave. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
