Elizabeth Ann Pactor's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Pactor, 46, resident of Orlando, and former resident of Gainesville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from injuries sustained in a fall.
Ms. Pactor was a native of Gainesville, born April 8, 1971 at Alachua General Hospital, graduated P. K. Yonge Developmental School, and Santa Fe College. As a child she was raised in the B’nai Israel Community, spent a year in Israel and was an ardent Zionist. After her marriage, she made her home in Orlando.
Survivors include; her husband, John Charles Jones; parents, Sid and Barbara Pactor of Gainesville, brother, David Alexander (Avit Romano) Pactor, of Houston; nieces and nephews, Dustin, Jessica, Alanis and Sebastian.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 11:00 A. M., in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville, with Rabbi David Kaiman, officiating. Interment will follow in B’nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the B’nai Israel Community, 3830 NW 16th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32605 or to any No-Kill animal shelter.
As a final expression of her care for others, Elizabeth gave the gift of life to six separate families through her decision to be an organ donor.
