I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. It is hard to believe that she has left us as she had such an indomitable will and was such a life force. I will always remember the tour she gave my daughter and me of the water buffalo ranches. We bumped along in the old Toyota, and my daughter had to be careful that she not be poked by a bunch of barbed wire stored in the back seat. Betty was such a great caretaker of Hugh Popenoe's legacy, and I know that her friends and family will carry her legacy forward just as well. There are some final matters in Hugh's estate to deal with, though, so if Betty's representative could please contact me, that would be very helpful.
