I remember staying overnight with Steve and Josh when we were young and Mrs. Schmidt baking chocolate chip cookies for us the next day. She was smart, kind, and generous.

I feel fortunate to have known and spent time with Eleanor. She was always generous, thoughtful, kind and clever. She made a personal impact on me through her dedication to art and the community as a docent for many years at the Harn Museum. I know she will be missed by many.
