Oh my, I did not know she passed away. What a beautiful woman. I have so many fond memories of Warren and Elda Lee. They were great people. Sweet sweet lady. I'm so sad I missed this.

I will always cherish my early college years of memories of working summers and more with Warren, Elda Lee and cousin Rod on the ranch in their first years there. Those early days at War-Rod Ranch were the greatest, building fence and working cows with Rod and Warren, and Elda's ranch lunches were always an incredible highlight of every single day. She never turned away anything hungry - One of the first ranch dogs we called "Jip" that we all saved later became the mother of several generations of ranch pups that followed. Elda's garage kitchen door was their guard station and feeding spot.
All the best to the family, always. She was truly one of the great of the greatest generation. SO many good memories.

We met Miss Elda in her assisted living facilities at North Florida retirement village. My dad, George, is also there, so I’d see Miss Elda on my numerous visits. She was kind, and always had a smile! We are so sorry for your loss. Ann and Kevin Shortelle
