Elbert "Lee" Foreman's Obituary
Elbert “Lee” Foreman, age 93 of Alachua, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at E. T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. He was born June 13, 1924 in Miami, Florida to Lee and Lorena Mildred Partridge Foreman. Lee was part of the 509th Air Force Wing in WWII, and worked on the Enola Gay. He was a dental technician for 44 years. He worked hard to provide for his loving family.
Lee is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 74 years, Gena; three children, Gregory (Candace) Foreman of Nashville, TN, Marsha Foreman, and Gail (Donnie) Lynd, both of Alachua; two grandchildren, Dale (Maria) Foreman and Tiffany (Chris) Cellon; five great grandchildren, Kayla, Cody, Garrett, CJ, and Aaron, and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave, with Barry Seales officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
