Effie M. Hall's Obituary
Effie M. Hall of Gainesville passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Crosswinds Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, Florida. She was born in Dover, Tennessee to Mr. Faye Oscar and Mrs. Earlmer Wallace. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren lovingly knew Effie as “Nana.” She loved to cook, collect dolls, and garden. Effie enjoyed spending time with friends and “never met a stranger.” She was a member of Celebration United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Atkinson and Charles Hall. She is survived by her son, Mark Atkinson (Carol); siblings, Samuel Wallace, Brady Wallace and Ora Futrell; grandchildren, Heather Atkinson, Melanie (David) Sollenberger, and Philip (Kim) Atkinson; and great grandchildren, Isla and Graham Sollenberger.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Celebration United Methodist Church, 9501 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608.
