I’m Roxanne Darcy, wife of Patrick Darcy of New Jersey. Edward was my husbands cousin. He came to visit us in NJ a number of years ago and brought his granddaughter Takia (Elizabeth?) with him. I remember how I fell in love with Takia the moment I met her. Her beautiful smile and bright eyes melted my heart . I’ll never forget that day ...
Sadly, my google search for Edward has led me to his obituary today, I hadn’t received a Christmas card from him this year and I wanted to know if he was alright. I am saddened to find out that he has passed, but I know he is safe with God and his pre deceased family. Takia, if you ever see this note, please know that I will never forget you. My memory of Ed dates back to the time we were coworkers for several years. During that time I could always count on Ed to share his perspective on an unbearable situation and make me laugh.
