Edward Jesse Frost's Obituary
Edward Jesse Frost, 79, of Starke passed away March 7, 2016 at Shands in Gainesville. He was born July 27, 1936 in Olean, New York to Edward Jesse and Helen Harrison Frost. Edward proudly served his country, retiring from the United States Navy. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and he got to spend his last days riding his bike in Daytona at the 75th Annual Bike Week. He loved camping, boating, fishing, and shopping.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Irene Frost and children, James Leroy, Ernest David, and Robert John Frost. He is survived by his children, Faith Frost Yancey, Hope King, Debora Frost, Edward Frost, Linda Opperman, and Billy Joe Frost; brother, Robert Coles; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren with one on the way, and his beloved dogs, Priscilla, Happy, and Lucy.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Waldo, Florida, with Military Honors. Flowers are accepted and may be sent to 15216 NE 146th Ave, Waldo, FL, or in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
