Such a great man. God bless you Terry and Eddie. Uncle Ed was always my favorite Uncle.
I think of a life "well-lived" when I remember Mr. Pruitt. He was a kind and generous man to all who knew him and was adored by his family. May you guys find comfort in the rich memories you have. Terry and Eddie, though you are hurting, please find peace in knowing you had such a wonderful dad. My thoughts are with you.

Terry and Eddie I’m so very sorry for your loss , you are in my thoughts and prayers
I'm an in law to Ed, my wife being his niece. I had the honor of knowing Ed for over 30 years. His frequent visits to Topeka were a chance to get to know 'Uncle Ed'.
The many stories of his life were something to hear.
I once had a chance to sit and talk with Ed, asking him to account his life's journey, especially his Military Career. Ed started at the beginning, and told me of a part of his life.
At the end, I believe 3 hours had easily past.
I learned about the Real Ed, a Man of deep caring for people, the integrity to always do things right, to treat people with the dignity and courteous they deserved.
I've met very few people like Ed. He loved people, especially his family who he watched over, helped, and protected all his life.
To Ed's family and friends, I know they understand.
I want them to know Ed was a special Man, and I'll never forget 'Uncle Ed'.
God Bless you All!
Mark McCoy, and my Loving Wife Kim
