Dear Sharon, I just found out about Doyle's passing at my Nieces funeral in Richmond. You and Doyle have played such a wonderful role in my life and I just wanted you to know how much I have appreciated you both. May God's peace and comfort be with you.

Sending love & deepest sympathies to Sharon, David, Jeff and your precious family from FBC Suffolk. I cannot say shortly how much of an impact Doyle has had and will continue to have on the mission. You all brought Nashaat to our church family. Sharon guided and helped me many many times in administrative areas whenever I needed. We were blessed to have David & Sara lead our congregation. I feel so much gratitude for your family and this godly gentleman. The impact of Doyle's dedication and godly leadership is clearly seen and reflected throughout the Chauncey Family. We are SO blessed for his life and legacy, for the privilege of these connections in Christ. You all are in our hearts and prayers~ Cary Perry (and Phyllis Perry, Jon Perry)
Very special, godly man. Doyle and Sharon were one of the first to welcome us to Westside Baptist Church. Doyle was kind, loving and a warm godly man. He is going to be missed by all who knew him. Love and prayers to Sharon and his whole family.
“Doyle, I miss you like everything.”
During the four years prior to our move to Georgia, Doyle, Ervin and I met every Thursday afternoon at the Jonesville McDonalds for fellowship and spiritual nourishment We were known there as the Three Wise Men.
The memories of our times with him and Sharon will eternally linger in our hearts as God’s gifts to us. Ken and JoAnne Hostetler ❤️
Doyle, Sharon, my late husband Doug and I went to the same church, double- dated in high school, we’re in each other’s weddings and helped baby sit each other’s children as young adults until life moved us on from Chattanooga, TN. He really liked sci-fi movies and cars!
