Although dad was not an alumni, he adopted the Gators as his team after relocating here and especially enjoyed seeing the Lady Gators Volleyball team in action.

Dearest Gail and family,
As you know a professional colleague introduced me to Mr. Werner years ago after a horrific divorce and my finances were in shambles. Mr. Werner took me under his wings and guided me back to financial restoration. He used to call me and say "Hello Marilyn" after Marilyn Monroe. When I first met Mr. Werner, he gave me tickets to the United Methodist Men's Pancake Breakfast at Trinity and it was because of the gift of those tickets that my sons and I became members at Trinity and Marcel and Myles became Eagle Scouts at Troop 454 of TUMC. Mr. Werner was more than my financial advisor, he was a spiritual father to me. Whenever, I had an appointment with him, I would sit for however long, because I knew there was a spiritual impartation that came from just being in his presence. I first met Erich in Disciple I study group. We were in several other Disciple groups. He brought interesting thoughts to the grocery. He was kind to me. He loved to eat, especially sweet foods. I tried to talk to him about not eating them. If Heaven has sweet foods, he will be at that table. 😂🥰
