Dorothy E. Stringer's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy E. Stringer, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Stringer is survived by her husband, Col. James K. Stringer, her daughter, Linda S. Pelter, of Jamestown, N. C., and a son, Michael J. Stringer, of Gainesville.
Dorothy was a loving wife, a devoted mom, a doting grandmother and an adoring great grandmother. She was an active volunteer, including over 25 years at Alachua General Hospital, and the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville.
Private family services will be held and in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in her honor would be appreciated.
