Dorothy Fette Everett's Obituary
Dorothy Fette Everett, age 90 of Gainesville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 in E.T. York Care Center. Dorothy was born January 11, 1925 in Mercedes, Texas to Francis Nicholas and Marie Isabelle Vogel Fette. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid golfer and Gator fan. Dorothy worshiped at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Holy Faith Catholic Church and Queen of Peace Catholic Community.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Bill” Everett. She is survived by her three daughters, Jan E. (Bill) Lindner of Tallahassee, FL, Nancy E. (Mike) Sanders of Gainesville, FL and Cathy E. (Bob) Wool of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Holly Bishop, Blake (Tracy) Bishop, John Lindner, Scott (Anna) Lindner, Ryan Lindner and Addison Lindner (Shawn) Moore and great granddaughter, Jamesyn Schaich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Community, 10900 SW 24th Avenue, with Fr. Kazimierz Ligeza as celebrant. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 401 SE 21st Avenue. In lieu of food or flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.
