Dorothea Maria Gocek's Obituary
Dorothea Maria Gocek, 94, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Gainesville, FL. Ms. Gocek was born in Archer, Florida, on September 28, 1929, the last of 13 children, to the late John Andrew and Zofia Gocek. Ms. Gocek lived her entire life in Florida.
She retired from Bell-South Telecommunications (AT&T) after starting as an operator and working her way up to a wiring technician. Ms. Gocek loved her family and looked after her mother and several siblings in their later years. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 1:00 P. M., in Evergreen Cemetery.
